Cloudscapes
Sometimes, when I look at clouds, I imagine what it would be like to travel there, as one might to a distant mountain or a far off copse of trees. How I might walk up it’s slopes, placing my feet and hands into firm nothingness and propelling myself impossibly upwards? It’s fascinating to explore the idea of a “landscape” that is constantly, rapidly changing, and yet seems static at a quick glance. All of this an illusion of something solid and tactile, created by water vapour and light.
This is an exploration of the abstract topography within clouds.
